Who can refer

  • If you would prefer not to visit your GP to get a referral or are not eligible under Medicare, you can self-refer directly for assessment and care.

    Private health funds welcome. Rebate may vary depending on your provider.

We accept a range of referrals and care plans.

These pathways help make physiotherapy and psychology care more accessible with Medicare rebates where accessible.

  • Referred by your GP under the Better Access initiative for psychological support.

    Eligible clients may access up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year.

    Medicare rebates per eligible session:
    Clinical Psychologist: $145.25
    Registered Psychologist: $98.95

    Sessions are usually provided in an initial block of 6 sessions, with a GP review required to access further sessions if clinically appropriate.

    This plan can support a range of mental health and wellbeing concerns.

These pathways help make physiotherapy and psychology care more accessible with Medicare rebates where accessible.

  • Referred by your GP as part of a GP Management Plan.

    Medicare rebates ($61.80) are available for treatment from allied health professionals, including Physiotherapists & Psychologists, who are assisting in managing the illness.

    The scheme allows a person with a complex or chronic illness to claim a Medicare rebate for a total of five sessions.

    • 5 allied health sessions per calendar year

    • Review with your GP to access more sessions

    • Supports ongoing management of chronic pain and long-term condition

  • Referred by an eligible medical practitioner for allied health support related to autism, complex neurodevelopmental disorders or eligible disabilities.

    Eligible clients under 25 years may access Medicare-rebated allied health services.

    This may include support from psychology, physiotherapy, and other eligible allied health providers.

    Eligible clients may access up to 20 allied health treatment sessions in their lifetime.

    A valid referral and treatment plan is required.

    This plan can support developmental, behavioural, emotional, communication and functional needs.

  • We welcome eligible Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) referrals for physiotherapy and psychological services.

    Treatment may support pain management, rehabilitation, mobility, wellbeing, and overall quality of life.

    Patients may require:

    • A valid DVA Gold or White Card

    • GP referral where applicable

    • Approval or referral documentation relevant to their condition or treatment

  • CTP (Compulsory Third Party) insurance may provide coverage for physiotherapy and psychological treatment following motor vehicle accident-related injuries. 

    Treatment may support pain management, movement and function, rehabilitation, and return to daily activities.

    Patients may require:

    • A valid CTP claim number

    • Insurer details and approval where applicable

    • Referral documentation from their GP

  • We support individuals recovering from work-related injuries through WorkCover-funded physiotherapy and psychological services.

    Treatment may focus on pain management, rehabilitation, and supporting a safe return to work and daily activities.

    Patient may require:

    • A valid WorkCover claim number

    • Insurer or employer details where applicable

    • Referral documentation or medical certification from their GP
